Our Worship Services and Style

Windsor Baptist has a blended worship service, combining contemporary songs and choruses with traditional hymns. Our choir and soloists mix various forms of specials from traditional anthems to modern praise songs.

SingingOur Pastor preaches mostly expository sermons; meaning, he deals with each passage he uses and explains both what the text says and what it means. John loves to interpret the Bible from its historical and grammatical context then gives a practical application for us to use in our day-to-day lives.

The worship context is one of celebration. We strive to "Celebrate God's Presence" and finding our inspiration to leave the service to "Demonstrate God's Love" to everyone we see and speak to.

We believe that worship is an everyday experience. One hour on Sunday morning only sets the stage for our adoration of a great God Who we take with us where ever we go.

Worship Expresses Our Love for God

Jesus said that The Father seeks worshippers ... and His worshippers must worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23 & 24). We have found that the Scriptures speak of many expressions of worship and at Windsor Baptist we express through ...

  • Singing (Ephesians 5:19)
  • Commitment (Romans 12:1 & 2)
  • Praying (Psalm 95:6)
  • Hearing the Word (John 17:17)
  • Giving of Time, Talents and Treasure (I Corinthians 16:1 & 2)
  • Baptism by Immersion (Romans 6:3 & 4)
  • Meditating (Habakkuk 2:20)
  • The Lord's Supper (I Corinthians 11:23-26)

Our Worship Style comes through:

  • Celebration (Psalm 122:1)
  • Inspiration (Isaiah 40:31)
  • Preparation (Ephesians 4:11-12)

Come as you are, worship as God moves you and be a part of a growing fellowship of "celebrators."
